Q.

How many classes may I take per 10 Week session?

A.

You are welcome to take as many classes as you feel you are reasonably able to handle. We advise students to reserve several hours of homework time per class, per week to maximize their benefit from each course. It is up to the individual student to determine how much time s/he has to devote to each class and its assignment load (where applicable). *Please note that tuition is not refundable should a student drop a course or no longer be able to attend after the first class session.

Q.

Do I have to submit a portfolio in order to attend classes?

A.

Enrollment in a class is ensured purely with your payment confirmation. We may later implement pre-requisites for Advanced Level classes; but for all of our current classes, you can simply enroll in the available course you would like to take.

Q.

Do you offer a full time program, degree, or certificate?

A.

We do not currently offer a full time program; however, should you take 3-4 classes, you will likely be busy enough to consider yourself as such. We are happy to assist you on a one on one basis with developing a track that will best meet your artistic needs at KSA+G.

Q.

Do you offer students financial aid or scholarships?

A.

We are not able to offer financial aid as we are not an accredited program. However, our prices are very competitive in comparison to comparable small schools and colleges. We are a private, preparatory and continuing arts education program, rather than a college or vocational school. We offer a discount for students who enroll in three 10 week courses within the same 10 Week session. We also reserve the right to offer scholarship money to students purely at our discretion; however there is currently no formal scholarship program in place.

Q.

Do you offer a discount if I take more than one class in the same 10 Week session?

A.

Yes. We offer a discount if a student enrolls in 3 classes in the same 10 Week session. The discount we offer is $50 off of a single class.

Q.

If I enroll in more than one class in the same 10 Week session, do I have to pay the Registration Fee for each class in which I enroll?

A.

No, you only have to pay the $10 Registration Fee once per 10-week class period.

Q.

My employer is paying for my tuition. Do you offer a certificate of completion so that I can get reimbursed by my employer for tuition?

A.

Generally a receipt is enough to satisfy the requirements for tuition reimbursement. If the HR department of your company needs further verification of your performance in the class/es you have completed, then we can provide a certificate of completion to meet those requirements. Please let us know in advance the specific requirements of your HR department so that we can prepare any necessary documents at the conclusion of the course.

Q.

What does Korpus mean?

A.

Our name is derived from the word “Corpus”, which refers to the body / figure, which is our primary artistic subject matter. "Corpus" / "Corps" also refers to a collective body or group of people working toward a common (in our case, artistic) goal. “K” is a reference to the initial of our founder and owner’s last name.
